Red'X coating
HSS-E Cobalt + Red'X = hardness 65 HRC, to machine steels up to 1000 N/mm², Cast irons up to 200 HB, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium. The Red'X coating = hardness 3500 HV considerably increases the tool life for intensive use, by increasing wear resistance and improving surface finish.

These step drills are designed for combining both boring and counterboring before threading operation. Their conception insures rigidity and longer tool life.
